Posted on Google Rob BookerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Katie and Lynn were incredibly supportive throughout my level 4 course and took all of the administrative hassle out of arranging material and exams. The course material they supply is concise and to the point making it easy to digest and understand. I did my level 4 in my own time whilst having a full time job, 2 small children and going through the process of moving house and I managed to pass all 8 exams first time. I would absolutely recommend them.Posted on Google kimlazTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. FAQs
Common questions,
honest answers.
-
Which CIPS level should I start at?Pick the level that matches your current responsibilities. New to procurement → Level 2. Junior buyer → Level 3. Buyer or specialist → Level 4. Category manager → Level 5. Head of procurement → Level 6. If you’re borderline, Katie will tell you honestly on your free call.
-
What is the difference between OR and CR exams?OR stands for Objective Response, multiple-choice exams used at Levels 2, 3, and parts of 4. CR stands for Case Response, written case-study exams used from Level 4 upwards. Level 5 is 100% CR, which is why it’s the jump most students find demanding. We coach exam technique for both formats.
-
Can my employer sponsor me?Yes, and many do. We invoice your employer directly, provide the paperwork HR or L&D needs, and keep them updated on your progress if you’d like us to. Our all-inclusive pricing makes the approval conversation easier, there are no hidden extras to explain later.
-
Can I study while working full time?
Almost every APS CIPS student does. Live classes are scheduled outside core working hours where possible, and recordings are available if you miss one. Expect to put in 6–10 hours per week depending on the level.
-
What happens if I fail an exam?Every APS CIPS package includes one free resit per module, we pay the CIPS re-entry fee, not you. Your tutor will work with you on what went wrong and coach you through the retake.
-
What does “all-inclusive” actually include?
CIPS student membership (worth around £267/yr), every official CIPS study guide, all exam entry fees, one free resit per module, unlimited one to one tutor support, and email support between sessions. Other providers routinely charge £1,000+ extra for the same bundle.
-
How big are the classes? We cap every cohort at 12 students, on every level, no exceptions. It’s the single biggest reason our pass rate is so high.
-
Do I need to do every level in order? No. Most students skip straight to the level that matches their current role. The only hard prerequisites are Level 5 (Level 4 or equivalent experience) and Level 6 (Level 5 or 5+ years’ senior procurement experience).
-
How do I enrol?Book a free consultation, confirm your level with Katie, pick a start date and payment plan, and we handle the rest, including your CIPS registration.
